Darkstar waited patiently by the Starfalls. She knew Nightstar was coming, she just didn't expect her to take so long. She nearly gave up hope, when a glimmer of light appeared, and suddenly an undersized black she-cat appeared. "Greetings, Nightstar." Darkstar mewed cooly "You certainly took your time" She commented, with a twinge of annoyance that she had been kept waiting

[Nightstar]

Nightstar winced. She knew she was late, but she had hoped the spirit wouldn't mention it. Then again, with Darkstar it was hard to tell. "Sorry. So, why did you call me here tonight?" She asked.

[Dark]

Darkstar rolled her eyes "I can't even look at you." She mewed, with a good-natured glint in her ice-blue eyes, then they hardened. "Now, I've noticed some stuff going on in your Clan. Honestly, you're low on fresh-kill during greenleaf and you don't even send patrols out anymore! DawnClan is doing better than you, and they don't even have a leader yet! Get your act together!" She growled. She couldn't believe she had left her beloved Clan to be run by Nightstar.

[Nightstar]

Nightstar stood, rooted to the spot "I...I know that we haven't been doing the best recently.....but is that the only reason you called me here?" She asked, hoping she didn't walk across the territories to be criticized by her old mentor. Even as she was scolded, she remembered her deep respect for the old leader.

[Dark]

Darkstar narrowed her eyes "There's trouble coming, Nightstar. And I need to know I can trust you to lead your Clan through it." She growled, thinking to herself that AshClan was in no position to fight anything

[Nightstar]

Nightstar widened her eyes "Trouble? What do you mean?! She cried out, but Darkstar was fading, along with WhisperClan. She was waking up "I'll do better!" She promised, before she awoke on the cool night grass, next to the roaring waterfall. She narrowed her eyes. She really was going to have to get her act together, or it could mean the end of her Clan.

As Darkstar watched Nightstar wake up, she knew that she would take her words to heart. As she heard the black cat promise to do better, she nodded. But would it really be enough?
