[Bell]

Bell jumped back and her bell tingled. "My twolegs are nice," Bell mewed the word twoleg strangely, as she never used it before, "They feed me well and give me reason for no desire with a life in the forest,"

[Tendrilflare]

"Hmmm." Tendrilflare. Was not convinced. "You would say that, wouldn't you. But do you really like it?"

[Bell]

Bell nodded quickly. Her bell jingled. "Yes, but as the wildcats you are, I suppose you wouldn't," she mewed, hoping it wasn't taken as an insult.

[Tendrilflare]

Tendrilflare flinched at the sound of the bell. "what is that? They make you wear a bell?!?!? That's horrible!" Tendrilflare gasped and looked at the kittypet with eyes full of pity.

[Bell]

Bell attempted to look at her bell. "I like my bell," she muttered. Bell raised her head. "I guess that's why they call me Bell."

[Icefang]

Icepaw stared at the at the kitty pet wondering the same things. " And do you have to stay cooped up in that little area? How can you live with that! Rarely seeing sun light and rarely breathing fresh air!" Icepaw, being from DawnClan and all, could not imagine living with out being able to sit in the sun light every morning when you wake up.

[Bell]

Bell looked at Icepaw. She wondered why he'd stayed so silent. "It's fine. Really. I can go out whenever I want."

[Tendrilflare]

"But you've never felt real freedom!" Tendrilflare objected. "You think you can go whenever, but you do have a bell...so that means no stealth, and then you rely on your twolegs for food...hey, do you have any kittypet friends? It must get lonely being stuck with your twolegs and a bell. Are there any other kittypets around here? Are they as nice as you?"she looked around as if expecting another kittypet to appear out of thin air, which was ridiculous as a)maybe all kittypets wore bells and b)she would have smelled and hear another other cat coming. With or without bells, kittypets were noisy.

[Bell]

Bell nodded. "Yes and no, I think one might be coming, more folks are arriving with a cage. I don't know what's in it though..."

[Tendrilflare]

"A cage? What's that?" tendrilflare asked cautiously. What was a 'cage' and what did it have to do with more kittypets?

[Bell]

Bell was scared of Tendrilflare and avoided the question. "Is there anything else about the clans?" she asked.

[Tendrilflare]

"Hmmmmm, I don't know. I can't think of anything." Tendrilflare said distractedly. "Hey, what do kittypets eat?" she looked at Bell curiuosly, wondering if the kittypet knew how to hunt. Bell didn't seem to have that much muscle. and the amount of noise bell made when she moved! How would she ever catch anything like that? No. It wasn't possible. but then what did she eat?

[Bell]

Bell sat down and purred. "Cat food," she mewed. "Crunchy and chicken. So good!"

[Tendrilflare]

"Cat food? I've never heard of that. What is it? Where does it come from?" Tendrilflare was beyond confused. There was a special time of food called 'cat food'? What? Where did that come from? If there really was such a thing as 'cat food', shouldn't all cats be eating it? How had she never heard of it? It was probably some crazy kittypet invention. Like....like...hmmm. It would probably turn out to be there name for....mice! Yes, surely that would be it. they called twolegs housefolk, they probably called mice cat food. It made sense...if you were a kittypet, probably.

[Bell]

Bell explained. "Cat food is a food that my folk give me."
