"The only way to ease my worrying is to sneak into the camp of other clans and spy upon them, to know their next move and to see the future of each cat to know they are safe." he replied, hazel eyes resting upon the orange she-cat. "I don't suppose you can do that?"
Talonstar couldn't help but smile. "I would not risk you like that" he replied, flicking his tail for her to come into his den instead of sitting outside like she was. "Join me?" Surely his rest would be better if he felt more normal as if he were in the warriors den again.
Talonstar woke several hours later, confused on the weight of her head on his and the fur that his nose was in. But Blazenheart's scent was quickly recognized and he couldn't bring himself to move. It was comforting laying like this, the warmth she shared. Finally the tom raised his head, being careful to try and not wake her.
The tom watched her a moment before reaching over to give her ear a quick lick. With a sigh he rose from his nest to take a few steps before sitting down, reaching over to groom his shoulder fur thoughtfully.
The sudden coolness woke her and instantly slitted her eyes as the light poured through the den. Her eyes wandered over to Talonstar watching as he groomed himself. She decided to do the same. She licked her paw and drew it over her head.
